Proactive for Your Prostate is a campaign led by Prostate Cancer Research to change health policy and public attitudes, ensuring equitable access to prostate cancer screening.

The current ‘informed choice’ model is failing—it’s ineffective at detecting aggressive cancers and deeply inequitable in access. With the UK National Screening Committee set to publish a decision in 2025, we’re pushing for urgent reform.

What we are calling for:

• A targeted screening programme for men at high risk now
• Investments in better diagnostic tools and AI so we can develop a universal screening programme ASAP.
